Wayan Aspen opened in late 2024, bringing Cedric and Ochi Vongerichten’s award-
winning French-Indonesian cuisine to the heart of Aspen. At Wayan Aspen, signature
favorites like Lobster Noodles and Corn Fritters are paired with locally inspired dishes
such as Colorado Lamb Satays and Butterflied Trout with Sambal and Tomato Sauce,
creating a menu that reflects both place and heritage.
Reimagining alpine coziness through a Southeast Asian lens, the intimate 68-seat
restaurant is anchored by a crackling wood fire and open kitchen, with ambient lighting
and modern textures shaping a warm, transportive setting. Custom Indonesian masks
and Balinese artwork sourced from Jakarta lend layers of soul and discovery,
transforming the space into a serene, design-forward hideaway.
Whether stopping in for après-ski cocktails at the bar or settling in for dinner by the fire,
Wayan Aspen offers an experience that blends French-Indonesian flavors and
hospitality with a truly singular take on its alpine surrounds.
